INTRODUCTION

The Grupo Comercial Chedraui, in response to your efforts, has decided to invest the necessary time and resources to provide you, through Internet, with a highly sophisticated tool known as “Servicio a Proveedores” (Providers Information System). The main goal of this system is to satisfy the need of information you may have in an expeditious, accurate and reliable way. This system will also be a communication channel between Grupo Comercial Chedraui and its suppliers.

We hope that this project will produce a lot of benefits for all of us and will strengthen our commercial relationships. This will make us more competitive for the benefit of our country.

THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT.
FOR EVERY ONE OF OUR ORDERS, PLEASE FOLLOW THE GUIDELINES AND SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS STATED BELOW:  
 

INVOICING:

1. Invoice should include net prices per unit and state the Id number of the corresponding purchase order.
2. All invoices must show a description of the product, next to the item number.
3. The invoice item numbers should match the purchase order item number (no substitution admitted).

THE MERCHANDISE AND DOCUMENTS MUST ARRIVE AT THE SAME TIME TO OUR FORWARDER.

1. Deadline dates of the orders must be respected. We will not accept a late shipment or extension without our written approval.
2. We request complete shipments.
3. No substitution or partial shipments will be accepted, unless a written approval is given.
4. In case of any discrepancy , merchandises will be returned.

All unit prices should show the discount we have negotiated, net prices per unit and per item. It is not essential to state the total discount.
 

PACKING:

1. Every shipment should be packed separately by store, according to the purchase order.
2. In every package the content should be marked clearly, item and quantity, according to the packing list.
3. Individual cases for each store, marked with the corresponding store name .
4. An exact and detailed packing list is required by store.

 

LABELING:

Every item should comply with current Mexican labeling regulations, showing the following information, ONLY IN SPANISH:

For textiles, in a fabric or plastic label sewn on every product:

Every product must show the above mentioned label before entering Mexican territory.
 

MISCELLANEOUS:

1. After submitting the purchase order we will immediately request a proforma invoice, in order to plan our budgets, as well as the "UPC" (BAR CODE) of every item and style.
2. Any change in the styles and/or quantities, should be notified properly.
3. If the merchandise does not comply with the previous specifications, it will be returned to the supplier.
4. It is very important that you send us, with the proper information, the form of registration, including your bank information to make your payment without complications.

Remember that you are now part of our team, so in order to make good business and successfully establish a solid commercial relationship communication is essential.

At present Group Chedraui is the first chain that is working with AMECE's Electronic Catalogue, and a great effort is done in order that all the suppliers enjoy this new system of cataloguing, by what has been decided that from March, 2004 any new article should be discharge unless its find inside Electronic Catalogue, for what its performs supreme importance to join this effort and to be given of discharge in AMECE whose telephonic number is: 01800-504-5400 and hereby to be able to be participants of this new system.
